The duvet cover, fitted sheet, flat sheet, and a pair of Oxford or housewife pillowcases come in classic organic cotton sateen. This set offers an easy way to sleep organic: soft, smooth, and breathable for year-round comfort. GOTS certified, it’s woven in India and made in Guimarães, northern Portugal. When bought together, the set costs 20% less than the individual pieces. How it feels: Soft, smooth and breathable.How it looks: Clean white and relaxed. Details Fabric: GOTS certified organic cotton sateen Colour: White Duvet cover: Envelope closure with a 40cm inner flap and inner corner ties. No buttons, so changing the cover is much quicker. Fitted sheet: 40cm pocket elasticated all the way round, with French seams and a centre tag on the short side. Flat sheet: 5cm top hem and a centre tag on the short side. Centre tags: Find the middle of the sheet quickly when you make the bed, and leave the tag on the outside when folded to see the size at a glance. Pillowcases: A pair (50 x 75cm), in your choice of Oxford, with a 5cm flat border, or housewife, with a plain edge and no border Sizes: Double, Euro King and Super King Woven: In India Made: In Guimarães, northern Portugal What GOTS certified organic means GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard. To carry the GOTS organic label, at least 95% of the fibre must be certified organic, which means the cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or genetically modified seed. The standard then follows the cotton through every step after the field, from spinning and weaving to finishing and sewing. Each step is checked by an independent certifier, against limits on the chemicals that can be used and against fair working conditions for the people doing the work.
