GOTS certified, it’s woven in India and made in Guimarães, northern Portugal. How it feels: Soft, smooth and breathable.How it looks: Clean white and relaxed. Details Fabric: GOTS certified organic cotton sateen Colour: White Closure: Envelope closure with a 40cm inner flap. There are no buttons to do up, so changing the cover is much quicker. Inner corner ties: To keep the duvet in place Sizes: Double 200 x 200cm, Euro King 240 x 220cm, Super King 260 x 220cm Woven: In India Made: In Guimarães, northern Portugal What GOTS certified organic means GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard. To carry the GOTS organic label, at least 95% of the fibre must be certified organic, which means the cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or genetically modified seed. The standard then follows the cotton through every step after the field, from spinning and weaving to finishing and sewing. Each step is checked by an independent certifier, against limits on the chemicals that can be used and against fair working conditions for the people doing the work.
