GOTS certified, it’s woven in India and made in Guimarães, northern Portugal. How it feels: Soft, smooth and breathable.How it looks: Clean white and relaxed. Details Fabric: GOTS certified organic cotton sateen Colour: White Pocket: 40cm, elasticated all the way round, for extra deep and pillow-top mattresses Seams: French seams Centre tag: A short tag sits in the middle of the short side, so you can find the centre of the sheet quickly when you make the bed. Leave the tag on the outside when you fold it, and you can see the size at a glance. Sizes: Single 90 x 200cm, Double 140 x 200cm, Euro King 160 x 200cm, Super King 180 x 200cm Woven: In India Made: In Guimarães, northern Portugal What GOTS certified organic means GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard. To carry the GOTS organic label, at least 95% of the fibre must be certified organic, which means the cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or genetically modified seed. The standard then follows the cotton through every step after the field, from spinning and weaving to finishing and sewing. Each step is checked by an independent certifier, against limits on the chemicals that can be used and against fair working conditions for the people doing the work.
